Touch Screen Laptops for Business or School

When the Dell touch screen laptop first came out, it was clearly going to be a device that offered many advantages to both business professionals as well as students. The touch screen interface is just something that other traditional laptops cannot compete with. With such advanced hardware, the things you could do with such a laptop were limited only by the software. It was perfect for everything from presentations to note taking to publishing creative works for both art and fun.

A touch screen laptop offered students a way to take notes that combines the efficiency of typing into a computer with the versatility of writing on paper. The touch recognition digitizes the contact with the stylus to allow a student taking notes to draw diagrams or create hand written notes. It can transform from tablet mode to mimic the paper and pen or take the form of a traditional laptop for keyboard and touch pad use. The MS Office productivity suite was especially receptive of touch technology and for touch screen laptop computers using their software the user can create and send handwritten emails through Outlook.

One notable way to show off this device is during presentations for both student projects and professionals. Instead of wagging an extendable section you broke off your mother’s antenna TV to use as a pointer or attempt to make a point by waveringly underline key terms, you can use a stylus or your finger to draw lines, circles or highlight whatever it is you need to keep your audience awake.

For digital designers who cannot seem to grasp the dexterity of a computer mouse, being able to draw with the stylus and letting the computer digitize your creation is something like a blessing. No doubt, the ever advancing technology is rapidly improving how the touch screen renders our commands which will make such an interface ever more popular.

  • I was scanning something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your linear perspective on it is diametrically opposed to what I read originally. I am still contemplating over the different points of view, but I’m tipped to a great extent toward yours. And regardless, that’s what is so good about advanced democracy and the marketplace of ideas online.

  • Hi – very good web site you have created. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to write a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically pleasing. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a merchandising firm. I have always enjoyed playing with computers and am trying to learn code in my free time (which there is never enough of lol).

  • How you find ideas for articles, I am always lack of new ideas for articles. Some tips would be great
